No Sun

Slow image fade
Colours turn to empty grey.
I don't wanna go outside,
Feeling overwhelmed,
I don't wanna go outside,
Feeling so burnt.
No sun.
Defeats familiar now,
Favourite parachute.
Comfort in the fall,
And the failure to execute.
No sun.

Medicate

Slipping out of sync,
Make myself sicker than I've been.
Step outside my mind,
Feel nothing, I feel nothing.
Medicate, round again.
Medicate, round and round again
I'm watching daytime television,
with all the lights on.
Drift into the beautiful buzz and hum,
Until I see organic noise.
Medicate, round again.
Medicate, round and round again.

Speckled, impressive,
Colours are excellent.
Call it a self-portrait,
I can't see anything.
I wouldn't call it art,
Unintentional, not volunteered by my heart,
But I wouldn't call it art.
It's just the shit that it pumps,
Sudden, violent, black and blue little chunks,
Flecks of my soul,
Muscle reflex dragging me out of that hole,
Sending me out of control.
Of no certain purpose,
In fact, its probably worthless,
Still I pour out the verses,
Water and oil.
